FAQ & FINE PRINT

Plain answers, classified-ad style. If it's not here, it's not promised.

Q.What am I buying?

You are buying a new release listing. $21 gets you 21 days in the storefront. Think of it like a listening bar in a record store only we don't sell your music or distribute it. You share snippets of your song or album preview, and we put it in front of the world. If they like what they hear, you decide where they go next: sell it on your own website, an artist to fan platform like Epoch Music App, or send them to a streaming platform (if you must, ha! ha!) We want to help you sell your music not give it away for free ๐Ÿงก

Q.What is a listing?

A listing is a preview of your single or an album, up to 30 seconds of each song. Your song or album must be new music released within the last 21 days. All music must be human-made; we do not accept AI-generated music. You must own or control the rights to distribute the recording. Artists may have only one active listing at a time.

Q.Why 21 days?

Music is truly new only once. Once you publish anywhere on the web, the discoverability clock starts. A typical release lifecycle is 6โ€“8 weeks โ€” so you can list in The Music Megastore as long as your release has been out no longer than 21 days. Your listing then runs for a full 21-day window. That means nothing in the store is older than 6 weeks, and fans know everything here is fresh. After your 21 days, your spot opens for the next new release. Come back with your next one anytime.

Q.Can I have more than one listing at a time?

No. Each artist gets one active listing at a time โ€” a single or an album, not both. You can't list 12 singles separately either. If your release is an album, upload it as one listing with up to 15 track clips. One artist, one release, one listing. When your 21 days are up, you can come back with your next release.

Q.Are there multiple pricing tiers?

Yes. Each listing has two tiers: $21 or $100. A standard listing is $21 โ€” 21 days on the store shelf. A featured listing is $100 โ€” 3 days of prominent placement in the featured scroll for your genre, plus 18 days on the full store shelf. Each genre has 20 featured listing spots. A featured listing includes everything the standard listing does. Pick one option, not both.

Q.What if my genre is full?

Each genre holds 500 listing slots. You may only pick one genre. If your genre is full, the submission page will show you the exact date the next slot opens. If your release will still be within its 21-day eligibility window on that date, you can purchase the listing immediately and your listing will go live automatically when the slot opens. If your release will be too old by then, the checkout page will suggest related genres that may have open slots for you to choose from.
